Chipola Softball Participates in Read Across America Week

The Chipola College Lady Indians Softball team recently visited Cottondale Elementary School as part of Dr. Seuss Read Across America Week, reading to students and encouraging a love of literacy.

“This was a great opportunity for our players to give back and make a positive impact on young students,” said Chipola head softball coach Kelly Brookins.

The Lady Indians have continued their season with recent wins over Lansing Community College and Volunteer State Community College. Chipola will return to action at home on Monday, March 23, hosting Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in a doubleheader at 4 p.m., followed by a Wednesday, March 25 matchup against Northwest Florida State College at 4 p.m.
