Chipola Baseball Travels to Pensacola On March 19

The Chipola Indians baseball team is 23-7-1 and 3-2 in league play as of March 17.

The Indians lost to Pensacola (9-2) on Wednesday, March 16 after winning 3-2 and 9-1 in a double header over Tallahassee on March 13.

Chipola opened Panhandle Conference play on the road against the Tallahassee Eagles on Tuesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 10. The teams split the first two games with the Eagles winning on Tuesday, 8-3, and Chipola winning on Thursday, 7-4.

Chipola will host Pensacola again on Thursday, March 17 at 5 p.m. before traveling to Pirate’s field on March 19 to play a double header beginning at 1 p.m. The Indians will travel to Wallace College in Dothan on March 22 and return home to host Coastal Alabama on Thursday, March 24.

The Chipola Indians are ranked third in the NJCAA national tournament and number 1 in the FCSAA state polls.
