Chipola College Brain Bowl Team Competes at Intercollegiate Championship

The Chipola College Brain Bowl team recently competed in the Intercollegiate Championship Tournament in Chicago. Chipola was one of only four community college teams participating in the event, which features competition against four-year universities.

During the tournament, the team was formally presented with its National Championship trophy. In playoff competition, Chipola recorded a 4–3 record, earning wins over the University of Guelph, the University of Missouri, the University of Michigan, Harvard University, and the Carleton University.

“We are proud of our students for competing at such a high level and representing Chipola College with excellence,” said Coach Stan Young, Brain Bowl coach.
