Chipola College Invites First ADN Graduating Class to Celebrate 40 Years of Nursing Excellence at Pinning Ceremony

Chipola College is proud to celebrate 40 Years of Nursing Excellence and is extending a special invitation to members of its first Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) graduating class of 1986 to join in the 2026 Pinning Celebration.
Chipola College will host the Class of 2026 Nursing Pinning Ceremony on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Center for the Arts. The ceremony honors the achievements of graduating nursing students while recognizing the legacy and impact of those who helped establish the program four decades ago.
Members of the inaugural 1986 ADN class hold a special place in Chipola’s history, paving the way for generations of nurses who have gone on to serve their communities with excellence, compassion, and dedication. Chipola College warmly invites these alumni to return to campus and be recognized as an integral part of this enduring legacy.
The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is a time-honored tradition symbolizing the transition from student to professional nurse. This year’s ceremony will be especially meaningful as it reflects on the program’s rich history while celebrating the future of nursing through the Class of 2026.
“As an integral part of Chipola’s legacy of excellence, service, and compassion, we are excited to ‘Honor the Past while Inspiring the Future’ during this special ceremony,” said Stefanie Barnes, Chipola’s Director of Health Sciences.
