Chipola College Partners With Graceville Fire Department To Teach Fire Safety

Chipola College partnered with the Graceville Fire Department to visit Westville Head Start students for a fire safety activity.

Students learned how firefighters help keep the community safe. Firefighters showed their gear and explained how it helps protect them during emergencies.

Chipola staff joined the fun, helping students try on a firefighter hat and take photos. The visit helped the children learn about safety and appreciate first responders.

“Every partnership, every visit to an area school is an opportunity to help students learn, grow and connect with the community,” said Meri Mock, Public Information Officer, “And we like to connect when they are young and see them grow.”
