Chipola College’s Workforce Recovery Training Program (WRTP) Grant has been extended through Sept. 30, 2027, allowing eligible students to continue receiving tuition assistance for several high-demand skilled trades programs.

The grant covers tuition, textbooks and required fees for eligible students enrolled in Electricity, Welding, Building Construction, HVAC/R and Plumbing programs.

In addition to hands-on technical training, students can earn industry-recognized certifications while receiving career support services, including resume assistance, interview preparation, job search guidance and mentorship.

The WRTP Grant supports workforce development across the Florida Panhandle by preparing skilled professionals to meet regional workforce needs and contribute to the area’s continued economic growth and recovery following Hurricane Michael.
