Chipola TRIO Society Celebrates Legacy, Leadership, and Alumni Impact

The Chipola College TRIO Society recently hosted a legacy celebration honoring the program’s history, leadership, and alumni accomplishments. The event reflected on TRIO’s beginnings during the 2013–2014 academic year, when Tiara “Sorey” Davis served as the organization’s first president.
Alumni speakers Tiara Davis, Christopher Brockington, Camron Jones, and Jaylon Smith shared powerful reflections on their experiences and the lasting impact of TRIO. Virtual messages of encouragement were also delivered by Zeek Blount, 2020–2021 TRIO Society President, and Aliya Everett, 116th Miss FAMU. The celebration was presided over by TRIO Society Vice President and reigning Miss Chipola College 2026, Trinity White.
“TRIO’s legacy is a testament to the power of mentorship, leadership, and perseverance,” said Kristie Mosley.
The event highlighted TRIO’s continued commitment to student success and the meaningful connections that strengthen the Chipola community.
