Chipola’s WRTP Grant has been extended until Sept 30, 2026—covering tuition, books, & fees for skilled trades programs, including: Plumbing, Electricity, HVAC/R, Welding and Building Construction.

Tuition, textbooks, and all required fees for many high-demand workforce programs—such as Building Construction, Electricity, HVAC/R, Plumbing, and Welding—are covered by the grant.

Industry-Aligned Certifications & Support-

Students receive training for relevant certifications while accessing career assistance like resume building, interview prep, job search support, and mentorship.

Regional Recovery and Workforce Support-

The grant continues the mission of rebuilding the Florida Panhandle region following the 2018 Hurricane Michael disaster. Its goal is to train a skilled workforce to drive local economic recovery and resilience.
