Chipola College provides access to quality learning opportunities in the arts and facilitates the economic, social and cultural development of the college’s service area.
Our commitment to Fine and Performing Arts and the cultural development of the Chipola District is found in the college Mission Statement. This commitment is important to our college faculty and staff and is supported by our college administration.
The Fine and Performing Arts Department encourages the arts by offering:
- Daytime performances for Middle and High School Students for our Fall and Spring theatre and Show Choir productions
- Daytime performances for approximately 2000 elementary students for our Spring children’s production
- Opportunities for K-12 students and community volunteers to perform on our stage through Open Theatre Auditions, School Choir Invitations, and Local Dance Troupes Invitations.
- Summer Fine Arts camps
- Support of local music and theatre programs in our schools and communities
