Chipola Lady Indians Finish as FCSAA State Runner-Up

The Chipola College Lady Indians women’s basketball team finished second in the FCSAA Division I Women’s Basketball State Tournament after a 70–45 loss to Gulf Coast State College in the championship game.

Chipola reached the title game following a strong performance throughout the state tournament and completed the event as the state runner-up.

 “I’m proud of how our team fought throughout the season,” said head coach Mitch Rolls. “We’ll carry this effort forward as we compete in the national tournament.”

But the season isn’t over yet. The Lady Indians will continue to compete in the NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship, scheduled for March 22–30 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
