The State of Florida requires a placement exam from ACT, SAT-I, or PERT for all students who intend to earn a degree. Test scores must be less than two years old and on file before you register for classes. Test scores are not required for non-degree seeking, transient, and transfer students who have completed appropriate English and math courses.

Students should register at www.actstudent.org. Students applying for extended time for the first time or requesting standby testing also have online options. The test center and college code lists are available only on the Web.
